INTRODUCTION

We are excited to be working with an exciting waste management company. They are seeking a Field Sales Executive to join their expanding team.

THE COMPANY

Our client, who is a passionate and forward-thinking waste management company, is experiencing continued growth and is looking for a Field Sales Executive to help them drive new business within the private sector.

THE ROLE OF A SALES EXECUTIVE

  • Prospect and engage new private sector clients, including care homes, GP practices, and pharmacies.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through networking and lead generation.
  • Deliver pitches, proposals, and tender responses with the Director of Growth & Partnerships.
  • Negotiate and close contracts in line with pricing and margin targets.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
  • Support new client onboarding and handover to operations.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across services.
  • Work with Regional Contract Managers to expand existing accounts.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Report on pipeline performance, sales activity, and conversions.
  • Share client insights with Product and Technical teams to improve services.

REQUIREMENTS OF A SALES EXECUTIVE

  • 2+ years B2B field sales experience.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Ability to travel within your assigned territory (London, Southeast, and surrounding areas).
