THE COMPANY
Our client, who is a passionate and forward-thinking waste management company, is experiencing continued growth and is looking for a Field Sales Executive to help them drive new business within the private sector.
THE ROLE OF A SALES EXECUTIVE
- Prospect and engage new private sector clients, including care homes, GP practices, and pharmacies.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through networking and lead generation.
- Deliver pitches, proposals, and tender responses with the Director of Growth & Partnerships.
- Negotiate and close contracts in line with pricing and margin targets.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
- Support new client onboarding and handover to operations.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across services.
- Work with Regional Contract Managers to expand existing accounts.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Report on pipeline performance, sales activity, and conversions.
- Share client insights with Product and Technical teams to improve services.
REQUIREMENTS OF A SALES EXECUTIVE
- 2+ years B2B field sales experience.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to travel within your assigned territory (London, Southeast, and surrounding areas).
